Annabel and her husband Andrew are two terrific people and hosts who have built a little paradise on the Irish countryside. You will sleep near to the animal enclosures. We heard the wolves howl both mornings, which was a lovely way to wake up.
The trailers were very clean and incredibly cozy to stay in. They were well stocked with everything one might need in both the kitchen and the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in and there are lots of blankets and pillows to stay warm overnight.
The hot tub was very relaxing to use the night of our arrival. We wanted to use it on arrival, and they were very flexible with preparing it for us! The dinner Annabel made for us was divine, and the old bus they repurposed into a small diner, with tables on the upper floor, was a highlight.
Overall, just an amazing getaway. You're out in nature but still have a comfortable stay with two lovely hosts. We're sure to be back when we get the chance.
Thanks for everything!

The most spectacular experience you could ask for. My partner and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary here with Andrew and Annabel and it was a dream. From the beautiful animals to the kindness and thoughtfulness of Annabel + Andrew, we will never forget this weekend. The experience with the animals is like nothing else we’ve ever done. The cabin was also so cozy. Highly recommend dinners with Annabel, an incredible cooker she is!
Artem - September 2024
The best airbnb we've ever stayed in: the cabin was amazing, Annabel and Andrew were so welcoming and nice, and the animal sanctuary is just incredible, we didn't expect it to be such a great experience, but it was absolutely perfect!
Adam - August 2024
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and surrounded by the peaceful ambiance of nature. The accommodations were cozy, clean, and well-appointed, providing all the comforts of home.
The highlight of our stay was interacting with the animals. The sanctuary is home to a variety of rescued creatures, and it was heartwarming to see them well cared for and thriving. The staff's passion and dedication to animal welfare were evident and inspiring.
Morning walks around the sanctuary, followed by an evening by the fire pit, created wonderful memories. This is a perfect retreat for animal lovers and anyone seeking a serene getaway. We left feeling rejuvenated and connected to nature. Highly recommend!

I have been traveling around Ireland for a couple of weeks and this by far has been the highlight of the trip.
We had another couple stay in another cabin to which we became friends instantly as we booked a dinner with Annabel.
A drink with the hosts and other guests by the fire at night made it a memorable night full of laughter.
The animals made this trip. We were able to feed the lemurs grapes and visited the other animals and learned all of their stories.
This stay was needed to recharge my battery and get a great night sleep in nature.
Highly recommend
Lahari - June 2024
Annabel and Andrew were perfect hosts, making our stay truly unforgettable. We cherished every moment and had the pleasure of interacting with other wonderful guests. We highly recommend participating in a pizza night; Andrew's delicious vegetarian pizza was a highlight of our trip 🍕.
The farm offered unique experiences like feeding the lemurs and interacting with other animals. Hearing the wolves howling 🐺in the morning was a magical touch that brought us closer to nature. Our favourites on the farm were the three dogs, Willow , Spartacus, and Conquer 🐶🐶🐶.
Also, the bottle of raw honey 🍯we received from the farm was simply scrumptious. Annabel and Andrew are genuinely wonderful people. We sincerely hope to visit the farm again soon.
The property is exactly as described in the listing. For dining and fuel, the closest options are in Fermoy and Mitchelstown, both equidistant from the farm.
Shauna - May 2024
We couldn't have enjoyed our stay with Annabel and Andrew more. What a unique experience.
Not only do yo get to stay in a gorgeous shepherd's hut in the country side, eat your breakfast on a double decker bus, but also, you are surrounded by amazing animals.
We got to feed a family of lemurs - the highlight of our stay. We got to spend time with the wolves, visit silver foxes, goats and so much more,
Annabel and Andrew were wonderful hosts and couldn't do enough for you, we felt very welcome.
We will miss conker, Willow and Spartacus - their gorgeous dogs. We will definitely be back!
Haylen - May 2024
This was genuinely one of the best experiences we have ever had, we were blown away with how beautiful it was and the animals were incredible, there’s almost too much to do and enjoy 😁. I would 100% recommend staying here to anyone who loves animals and is looking for something different, Annabel and Andrew are just incredible hosts and such genuinely lovely people who made us feel so welcome and comfortable and the food was incredible too 👌 homemade pizzas and Moroccan meatballs were incredible. We honestly can’t recommend it enough and can’t wait to come stay again.
Maura - April 2024
I stayed in one of the shepherd's huts with my daughter and we had such a beautiful stay and a beautiful experience, it was hard to believe the number of animals they care for and we were able to view them any time, there were meerkats, racoons, wallabies, limers, pygmie goats, guinea pigs, tortoise etc etc t was a really special experience to hear the wolves howling, I don't think there is anywhere else in Ireland you can get this personal experience. The biggest asset is Annabelle and Andrew, they are so friendly and caring, my daughter went around the sanctuary with Andrew and he told her so much about all the animals. we enjoyed homemade pizza in Annabelle's bus. we can't wait to go back. if you are an animal lover this place is a MUST. Thank you so much.
Amy - November 2023
A slice of heaven in the Irish countryside: Annabel and Andrew, we’re so grateful to you both for welcoming us into your fold and hosting such an unforgettable stay for our honeymoon. From check-in to check-out, our time at Araglin was filled with surprise and delight. Whether you’re a seasoned rambler, weekend walker or armchair explorer, there’s plenty to see, hear and taste. Discovery awaits beyond the gates and across the fields too, so pack your wellies and walking boots! The animal sanctuary is obviously a labour of love for Andrew and Annabel and its charming cast of characters made our time extraordinary too. Their love and dedication to breathing life into this rural landscape and providing a space to connect with nature is inspiring. Our time here could never be long enough, but we leave Araglin with a renewed energy and appreciation for this cherished corner of the Cork countryside. We can’t wait to return and until then we’ll treasure the memories and friendships we made.
Lillie - October 2023
Glamping at the animal sanctuary was an incredible experience. A true highlight of our trip in Ireland. The area is so beautiful and peaceful. After week or so traveling the country it was the perfect spot to have a little downtime, enjoy delicious homecooked meals and play with the many animals. I will never forget feeding the lemurs, lounging with the dogs and learning about all the fun critters around the farm. Annabel and Andrew are the greatest hosts. We loved hearing their stories and spending time with them. thank you both so much for sharing your little slice of heaven with us! The hot tub was fantastic, glamping hut was adorable and company was even better. I loved waking up to the howls of the wolves and crowing of the roosters. I highly highly recommend spending a few days here!
Nicole - August 2023
Our stay at Araglin was beautiful, it is so peaceful on site and the huts are extremely cosy and comfy. Good facilities if you want to bring some food or snacks or you can link in with the hosts for dinner at an extra fee- the pizzas were top notch thanks to chef Andrew ! The animals are all well cared for and it is amazing to see the work and dedication the whole family have put into running the site. Feeding the lemurs was amazing 🤩 and I would have liked more interaction with some of the other animals from reading others reviews but perhaps this was not possible during the time we were staying. It was still throughly enjoyable though and would recommend to anyone 😊 thanks Annabel and family!
Jeremy - August 2023
Nat and I had such an amazing two days at this place. The hut was very clean, cosy, and had everything we needed. Annabel and Andrew were very welcoming and made us feel right at home.
Highlights of the stay were listening to the wolves howling in the morning, feeding all of the animals, taking the wolves for a walk, and chatting with Andrew, Annabel and the other guests around the fire pit in the evening.
Would definitely recommend this stay to any animal lover.
Can’t wait to return!
Brooke - July 2023
My boyfriend and I had an unforgettable stay! Annabel & Andrew were so welcoming, kind, generous & a bit of craic to share a few glasses of wine with! Our glamping hut felt like a 5-star hotel and was equipped with everything we needed. It was so cosy and we didn’t want to leave! Annabel cooked us lovely meals and they were the best company to have during dinner. The wood burning hot tub in the rain was the cherry on top of it all! The animal sanctuary is incredible, and you can tell just how passionate and caring Andrew is about the animals. From feeding lemurs to walking a wolf pup, this experience is one we won’t forget. We will 10000% be recommending this stay & already can’t wait to come back!!
Johnny - July 2023
This stay was beyond what we'd expected. We had the loveliest 2 days on the sanctuary. Annabel and Andrew were brilliant hosts, made to run something as unique as this. They made us feel so welcome and go above and beyond. The hut was so cosy and had everything you would need for a short stay. There are so many wonderful animals in the sanctuary. The lemurs were a personal favourite, so unique...and the four friendliest dogs you could meet. We spent a relaxing day wandering around the sanctuary, visiting a local waterfall, having a dip in the hot tub followed by delicious home made pizzas and wine around the fire pitt. We have already recommended this stay to our family and friends. We can't wait to return! Thank you again Annabel and Andrew!
Michelle - June 2023
Thank you Annabel and Andrew, we had a fantastic stay in the hut. The whole trip was not what we had expected, it was even better. We had a lovely time with you both and the other guests laughing and sharing stories. The animal santury was also such a treat, we especially loved the wolves! The hut itself was perfect, equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The grounds were also very peaceful, perfect for a relaxing weekend. We will be recommending this place to friends.
Ronan - May 2023
How do I even begin to describe this place?? We had such a beautiful experience meeting Annabel and Andrew, and of course all of the animals!!
Both of them went out of their way time and time again to make us feel at home and to make sure we enjoyed ourselves around the farm. Meeting each one of the animals was such a special experience, and the love and care that is put into the farm is apparent at every turn. The beautiful food, amazing accommodation and genuine, kind atmosphere just added to the whole experience. Thank you so much for having us and hopefully we’ll be seeing you again soon!!
David - May 2023
Genuinely one of the best experiences we’ve ever had, getting to know each of the animals is truly special, they all have such unique personality and Annabel and Andrew take such good care of them. Meeting these two is like reuniting with old friends. Their passion and enthusiasm for everything they do is infectious. Every moment of our stay was incredible, listening to wolves howl from the hot tub, beautiful dinner on the bus, hand feeding raccoons, having lemurs clamber all over you and playing with the wolf pups, it’s a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you guys so much, we can’t wait to come back.
Ornaith - April 2023
This was one of our favourite airbnbs. From the hut, to the food, to the animals, to the hosts, everything was perfect! The hut was sparkling clean with a comfy bed and a lovely shower. The animal sanctuary was the highlight of the trip - such a unique amazing experience you won’t get anywhere else. Nowhere else could you hold wolf cubs and feed lemurs. Andrew and Annabel are the perfect hosts, they’re great storytellers and even better cooks. Book this now, you won’t regret it!
Pierce - March 2023
I cant STRESS enough how amazing this spot is, the pictures do not do this place justice in anyway or form. I actually wish I hadn’t planned anything to do in the local area because I didnt want to leave. Annabel and Andrew felt like long lost friends the moment I met them! The area is amazing, the bed was amazing, eating food on the bus was amazing, being surrounded by wolves and exotic animals was surreal! I even blew a tire on the 300 mile drive, and they came out and changed my tire for me! This place doesnt need a second glance, book it and go relax for a few days.
Aoife - February 2023
This was the most incredible few days we had ever experienced, still processing all the excitement and trying to figure out if it was all some glorious dream or whether this place actually exists here in Ireland!✨
Annabel + Andrew are so welcoming, we honestly felt like we were staying with family, definitely friends for life!
They have a wonderfully wild life, are full of amazing stories, and are always up for a laugh, I've never met anyone like them, and I know a lot of inspiring people!!⚡️
We can't wait to return to see all of our new furry friends and human friends in the Summer time.🌞
Incredible food, comfy bed, fab scenery, unique things to do + explore -a gorgeous waterfall nearby as well as sitting in the hot tub under the moon as the wolves howl and barn owls fly overhead screeching, whaaat?!, just all round magical! ✨
A true hidden gem that I partially want to share and tell the world about, but also want to keep secret to myself 🥰
See you soon Boyles 🤍, missing you already
Kelly - September 2022
What a fantastic stay with Annabel and Andrew, the views are phenomenal and the relaxing atmosphere is just what we needed. The dogs were friendly and unique what made our stay even better.
All the animals on the farm were amazing but getting to hear the wolves howl is a core memory.
Andrew’s Woodfire pizzas are a must (for a little extra, is totally worth the money). Annabel’s vintage bus is a lovely touch and really sets the ambience.
Would recommend taking the opportunity to use the woodfire hot tub at sunset (for extra price but again totally worth it) as the views are spectacular.
Would recommend for anyone who is looking the outdoorsy type of break and would like to return again in the future.
Laura - September 2022
A truly unique and unforgettable experience. The shepards hut was so comfortable and had everything we needed. Annabel and Andrew were so lovely and made us feel really at home. Being an animal lover, the sanctuary really blew us away with such a wide range of animals who are all cared for so well. Watching the lemurs out in the open, playing with Whisper the Wolf, cuddling lovely raccoons, the lovely friendly goats… it was just exceptional and we will definitely be returning. Would highly recommend to all animal lovers and those looking for a peaceful stay in an unspoiled paradise.
Thank you so much Annabel and Andrew 🤍
Mark - September 2022
Annabel and Andrew were the ultimate hosts for me and my girlfriend. The Shepard's hut we stayed in was super clean, warm and we had good privacy at our outside table from the other people staying in the nearby hut with strategically placed foliage and the orientation of the huts being offset from each other (although we ended up becoming great friends with the other couple staying).
The animals were fantastic, you will return just to be with their dogs, nevermind the wolves (1. whose howling is amazing and 2. they don't howl all night, I was never woken up by them), Francis the raven (who scared me when he actually spoke), the lemurs who ate grapes out of my lap, deer, tiny goats, swans, marmosets, donkeys and all the other amazing animals there. It really is an area you could walk around for an age just admiring them.
We spent two beautiful evenings beside a roaring bonfire while Andrew served us pizza (top pizza chef 👌) and ended up chatting and drinking long into the night, DMCs on tap. Definitely a place for animal lovers, definitely not a place if you don't like dog falling asleep on your lap by a bonfire (which I assume is a minority). We will be going again.
Angela - August 2022
Well wow what a fabulous stay we had. My husband was doing the Ironman in Youghal and it was such a perfect base for it. One of the most relaxing places we have been. The shepherd hut was so cosy and well equipped, really beautiful! The wolves howling on occasion was the most wonderful sound. If you love animals this is the place to come. Lots to see and dogs to cuddle. But what really makes this place is Annabel and Andrew. Fabulous hosts, lovely breakfasts and evening meals if you want them which tasted amazing and such lovely, kind, genuine people. Lovely to share drinks and chats around the firepit! We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!! 🥰
Clare - August 2022

A phenomenal place! It's peaceful and relaxing especially for those who love animals. The cabins are sweet and cosy. Perfect for those who either want a break away from it all or who want to be able to visit nearby attractions! Annabels bus bistro is also a must experience ! We're already looking for our next chance to come back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Joe - July 2022
We had such an amazing time here! Annabel and Andrew were so welcoming and friendly not too mention superb pizza chefs! The Shepherds hut was extremely clean and cozy and had everything we needed. Wandering around the land and looking at all the animals was such a fun time especially with the Lemurs! Will we definitely be coming back here again that’s for sure!
Magdalena - July 2022
What an amazing place! The best place in Ireland I've ever been to. Our hut was cosy, well equipped and cute. The animals are very friendly and it's just unforgettable experience to be around them and to enjoy their company. I cannot even find words to describe how incredible it is to be there, to have an opportunity to watch them, interact with them or just to talk to them. They are all well taken care of and there are no doubts that they're all happy. Annabel is an amazing cook and we enjoyed her tasty breakfasts and dinners. Both Annabel and Andrew are very welcoming, kind and helpful. Myself and my daughter have had a lovely time enjoying their company, especially in the evening sitting next to the fire pit. Thank you for that. Sleeping being so close to those all animals and to have an opportunity to hear wolfs howling in the evening is something that we will never forget. Opening the door in the morning and being welcomed by dogs is another incredible experience. We only have spent 2 nights over there and it was definitely not enough. We will 100% come back as soon as we can!
Nan - July 2022
Annabel and Andrew are a very lovely, kind and loving host. Our family had a wonderful two days here. Delicious breakfast is enjoyed on the bus, a special experience. Get up close and personal with animals and feed them. Kangaroos, lemurs, lambs, ostriches, swans, pigs, including wolves are all very cute. It's like a zoo, the difference is that you can get closer to the animals. By the way, they also have talking parrots. We had a BBQ in the evening and it was so cozy. 100% recommend to everyone, especially families with young children, you will not be disappointed. They have rescued many animals, ordinary and great. We will be back again.
Shaun - May 2022
Literally amazing! Dogs are amazing (especially Willow!) and the “farm” is incredible. So amazing to see the animals so close up and get a guided tour by Annabel and Andrew. First night we had the pizza and all sat around the fire chatting and drinking to the early hours and hopefully made some friends for life. (Note: Pizza is so worth it for a little extra cost!) My advice is to arrive early (weather permitting) to take it all in and enjoy the place, this is not a place to just turn up and go to sleep and leave first thing like a lot of airbnbs.
Mary - June 2022
Our favorite stop on this vacation. The pizza was outstanding. The breakfast was fabulous. The only mistake we made was not having dinner there our second night. The animal sanctuary was unbelievable. I had two teenage boys who loved it especially all the animal interaction. We will be back!
Maura - July 2022
No words could describe how amazing this place is, the location is perfect for what we were looking for. It was lovely to just relax away from the town we are from it was so peaceful. Both Annabel & Andrew were so welcoming & friendly & especially there 5 dogs. The animals were an amazing attraction, qe nearly didnt leave the glamping site you could walk around for hours theres so much to see. Andrew let us feed the lemurs who were very very friendly & gentle. The hut was amazing so clean, spacious & had everything you could ask for. I could write a book on how amazing this place is, I have recommended it to my family & friends, we cant wait to go back there. Thanks again for everything Annabel & Andrew.
Sharon - May 2022
What a fantastic stay! It was amazing interacting with all the animals. The wolf cubs were ridiculously cute and the lemurs were a big hit with the kids. The hosts were lovely and cooked up some tasty meals on the restaurant bus. We can't wait to visit again. Probably the best Airbnb ever.
Dawn - May 2022
We had the best weekend at Annabel's! Annabel and Andrew were fantastic hosts and their glamping site is fab! The animals were so friendly and there is plenty to see and do. Dinner on the bus is a must, such a fun and quirky place to spend the evening and get to know the hosts and the other guests! We already cant wait to go back :)
Kaitlyn - May 2022
Where to even begin? Can’t say enough good things about our stay with Annabel! She was very kind and helpful, as was her husband and the young man who helped around the animal sanctuary. Our hutch was very comfortable, the shower was refreshing and we thought hearing the wolves howl at night was lovely. We used the hot tub (which is an additional fee) and were given robes for when we got out—we felt so spoiled and cared for. We also had a tour of the property then we were given permission to roam freely, so we did. We only have one major regret… It’s that we didn’t stay longer! If we ever come back to Ireland, this Airbnb will be at the very top of our list.
Elizabeth - April 2022
This place is amazing..Annabel & Andrew are wonderful hosts..they could not do enough for us..The shepherds hut was clean & cosy & the bed was so comfortable. The pizza & chips were so tasty. We loved the animals & especially the Lemurs! They were so cute. We will definitely be back in the Summer..thank yor a wonderful birthday weekend..
Purvi - April 2022
Annabel and Andrew are very sweet. Their property is one of the best experiences I have had in Ireland. They serve amazing food. They kept in mind about our choice in food and served mouthwatering dinner. The property is clean and well maintained. I would love to be back . Can’t recommended it enough. I absolutely loved it!
Maeve - April 2022
Magical setting with wonderful hosts in Annabel and Andrew. Araglin Glamping is a special place. Perfect for families and especially animal lovers. The opportunity for adventures are everywhere from chilling with the Lemurs, chatting with the parrots, petting the friendly deer, meeting wolf cubs or visiting the ponies. You also have the option to eat on Annabel's Bus Top Bistro - We did and had delicious pizza with homemade chips. The following evening we enjoyed a lovely BBQ chilling by the fire pit. Hidden gem in County Cork!
Natalia - February 2022
What a magical weekend we had in Araglin. The cabin itself is very charming and comfortable but what really made the place so special were the host, all the amazing happy animals around and the very cool bus. Annabel and Andrew are so welcoming, amazing fun, great cooks and were a big part of the whole experience. Playing with the wolves and baby goats, hanging out with all the dogs and seeing so many different species all within our "back garden" was very special. Thanks Annabel and Andrew for everything, we hope to be back soon!
Alison - February 2022
If you love animals and escaping to the country please please come here. The Shepherd Huts are so cosy but have everything you might need. even the cute blankets were a lovely touch. Annabel cooked us two amazing meals, homemade pizzas and lentil curry which were so tasty. The double decker bus on site is so cute and a great way to take in the scenery while having your breakfast. definitely will be back again.
Caroline - March 2022
Lovely cosy and warm cabin with amenities for cooking. Lots of games and toys for the kids plus a tv and DVDs to use. The animal sanctuary was something really special, you can look at the animal any time and walk around in it's large space. Pizza and chips on the bus was really delicious and a great novelty. Annabel and Andrew were very helpful and gave us lots of information all about the animals and the sanctuary. We really felt at home. The whole stay was so much better than going any generic hotel or Airbnb
